Two departments were opened in al-Hamdaniya Special care hospital after reconstruction. The opening was attended by the Director of health of Nineveh Governorate and the Director of al-Hamdaniya hospital and hospital staff.

The opening of the hospital will help local residents and the Yazidi minority to receive all kinds of medical services.

Hamdaniya hospital was completely burned down by ISIS terrorists. International organizations, in collaboration with the government and the Ministry of health, began preparing the hospital after the liberation operations in Nineveh Governorate, and work continued to restore and reconstruct parts and sections of the hospital until it was finally opened.

Dr. Samer Habib al-Banna from al-Hamdaniya hospital told reporters about the problems faced by the population of Iraq during the coronavirus pandemic. Director of the General hospital Hamdaniya, thanked his distinguished guests and sponsors for their participation in the restoration of the hospital, wishing further great achievements to all medical staff.
