Shamo Saido you can't make alliances in self-interest by shielding Yazidis
Shamo Saido, one of the prominent members of the Jindo family from Shangal, criticized the conference organized by the PDK in Mosul on behalf of Yazidis where decisions were taken to form an alliance on their behalf, no one can take decisions and form alliances on behalf of Yazidis based on their own interests.
Recently, the PDK organized a conference in Mosul, which was attended by some Yazidi and Arab tribal leaders who support the PDK. The conference signed an alliance on behalf of Yazidis, but the people of Shangal opposed this alliance and said that the decisions of the conference were rejected. The people of Shangal consider the conference as an alliance with ISIS rather than an alliance for a common peaceful life.
Shamo Saido, a prominent member of the Jindo family of Shangal, made a statement to reporters in this regard.
"No Yazidi is behind these decisions, this conference was attended by those who have not sacrificed anything, who have not suffered, who have not been affected by the Yazidi genocide and hence they cannot represent the Yazidi community. No Yazidi would ignore those who act on this basis on behalf of the Yazidi community. Those who made decisions at the Mosul conference on behalf of Yazidis have not benefited Yazidis so far".
Shamo Saido emphasized that such alliances cannot be established at a time when the fate of thousands of Yazidi women kidnapped in attacks by ISIS gangs is still unknown.
