The parliamentary majority appeals to the US Embassy to lift the sanctions on the judges. The executive secretary of "Georgian Dream", the leader of the parliamentary majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze made the relevant statement at the briefing held at the party's office after the majority session.

As Mdinaradze stated, the Georgian side has not yet received evidence that would confirm the relevance of the judges' conviction.

"On behalf of the parliamentary majority, we would like to appeal to the local representation of our partner and friend, the embassy, Ms. Ambassador, and we hope that this issue will be objectively resolved during her embassy, to start a conversation and remove the sanctions imposed on the judges by the US. So far, we have not seen evidence that would even confirm the relevance of these sanctions, if not some condition and real basis for the sanctions.

At the same time, we believe that several judges in Georgia have been impeached without any basis, this renews the campaign against the court, which the ordinary representatives of the "NGO" sector and the "National Movement" and its various branches are addressing," said Mdinaradze.
