Today, the N1 problem in Georgia, together with unemployment, is low wages - I want to appeal to the representatives of Ivanishvili's party - give us an answer, why is it that you are getting rich and people are getting poor? - The leader of "Strategy Aghmashenebeli", Giorgi Vashadze, announced this at a briefing held at the party's office.

According to him, more than half a million people are unemployed in Georgia.

"Today, the N1 problem in Georgia, along with unemployment, is low wages. Low wages = unemployment. I want to present you with specific data. According to official data, there are 261,700 unemployed people, to this number we should add the number of people with a salary of up to 300 GEL - 63,653. 97,246 people work in Georgia for a salary of 300 to 600 GEL. And 117,012 people are employed between 600 and 900 GEL. All these data are actually equivalent to unemployment. In fact, there are 539,611 unemployed people in Georgia. Imagine more than half a million people are actually unemployed. That is why more than 800 thousand of our compatriots emigrated. In the conditions of increased prices, it is a fact that this salary is nothing and will be nothing. Accordingly, I would like to ask the representatives of Ivanishvili's party a question - if you call these people employees, can you imagine that you have such a low income, would you support your families with these salaries? The main question is - why does this injustice happen? Mr. Gharibashvili speaks very cynically to immigrants. Yesterday, this person told the immigrants - "if they want to participate in the elections, they should come to Georgia". Do you think these people talk like that because of their boring life or went on vacation abroad? You have been in power for 12 years and what have you done for this country? To prevent people from emigrating? To attract European and American investment to create high-paying jobs?

I want to appeal to the representatives of Ivanishvili's party - give us an answer, why is it that you are getting rich and people are getting poorer?" Vashadze said.
