As part of the transport reform, ten transit bus corridors will appear in Tbilisi, Deputy mayor of Tbilisi Maya Bitadze said at the presentation of the project.

Thanks to the bus lines, the so-called "baslines", 12 and 18-meter buses will transport 150 passengers simultaneously along the Central streets of the city every 10-15 minutes.

Another 44 routes that intersect with the main lines will be served by 8, 10 and 12-meter buses and minibuses.

"There will be 185 city lines and local sections of the main corridors, which will mostly be served by minibuses. These are the calculations that have been made, and according to which we have developed a plan that should improve movement in the city," Bitadze said.
