Nadia Murad meets with Iraqi Prime Minister

At the Washington meeting of the Yezidi human rights activist, Nadia Murad, Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa al-Qasimi. During the meeting, the parties discussed the situation in the Yazidi region of Shangal.

"Yesterday I had the honor to meet with the Prime Minister of Iraq. We discussed vital aspects, the return of the still-displaced Yazidis, the restoration of Shangal, the provision of justice for the Yazidi survivors, and the rescue of those still missing in the captivity of the ISIS.”

"I appreciate his efforts to make changes in Iraq and look forward to working together to solve current problems," -Murad wrote in her Instagram blog.

Mustafa al-Qasimi paid an official visit to the United States, where he met with President Donald trump.
