Nadia Murad spoke with representatives of the European Union, with the EU Commissioner of justice "Didier Reynders", the Croatian Minister of justice "Drazen Bosnjakovic", and the President of the Eurojustice Ladislav Hamran.

Nadia stressed the need to bring to justice foreign Isil fighters in Europe responsible for genocide in crimes against Yazidis. Germany, the Netherlands, France, Hungary and Finland set important precedents in the prosecution of ISIL members.

Nadia explained that the survivors and victims of ISIL deserve justice - not empty promises and hopes ", " to live without justice is another kind of torture. It is not enough that the leaders of is are tried as ordinary terrorists, they should be tried for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. This is especially true for those gang leaders who have killed, robbed and raped women and girls."
