The Armenian government will provide assistance to Yazidi refugees in the camps of Iraq Kurdistan

With the assistance of a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia, who is a representative of the Yezidi minority Rustam Bakoyan, the Government of Armenia will provide humanitarian assistance to Yezidi and Assyrian refugees in the camps of Iraqi Kurdistan.

This week, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decided to allocate 80,000 US dollars to the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Erbil to acquire the necessary things and distribute financial assistance, at the rate of about 100 US dollars per person.

30,000 US dollar will be used to acquire heaters and blankets for Yazidi refugees and other minorities living in various camps.

We all know the difficult conditions in which the Yezidi minority live and survive throughout Iraq and Kurdistan. There is always a need for humanitarian assistance while many problems remain unresolved.
