At the annual reception in honor of St. Michael in Berlin, at the friendly invitation of the Commissariat of Bishops of the German Catholic Church, the chairman of the “Yezidische Jugend Oldenburg” Ilyas Yanc and Sheikh Xudeda Adani were invited.

The event was attended by German politicians, representatives of the Bundestag and the German Catholic Church.

Chairman Ilyas Jantz and religious leader Sheikh Xudeda Adani thanked the Bishop of Petzing for the invitation and warm welcome, also for the opportunity to hold important talks with the Catholic Church and representatives of the Bundestag.

Chancellor Scholz assured Sheikh Houded and Mr. Ilyas Janz of the safety and his support for the Yazidi community. There was also a dialogue with Mr. Frank Schwabe about Yazidi freedom and the situation of Yazidis in Iraq.
