The British Parliament held a discussion with the representative of Yazidis Vian Dakhil, the law on compensation for the victims of Yazidis or the law on the genocide of Yazidis were discussed. The session was held with the support of the University of London, it is hoped that it will lead to the adoption of a law that will be prepared by some British parliamentarians with the support of the British House of Lords.

Dakhil made a speech in which she touched upon part of the suffering of Yazidis during the terrorist invasion of ISIS, as well as their suffering in camps for displaced persons and obstacles to the return of Sinjar residents to their places of ancestral residence. She also touched upon the support that Yazidis have received from the Governments of Erbil and Baghdad, calling on the international community to provide additional support.

Dakhil presented in numbers the horror of the disaster that befell Yazidi community after the brutal invasion of ISIS. She pointed out that 13 parliaments and governments consider what happened to Yazidis to be "genocide" and welcome British steps in this regard, given Britain's position among the superpowers.

The session was an important step in the process of seeking justice for Yazidis who were victims of genocide by ISIS. It is hoped that the law, which will be prepared following the meeting, will provide much-needed support to Yazidi community and help bring to justice those responsible for this monstrous crime.
