Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad expressed her admiration for Yazidi community, which is integrating into German society through work in various fields, and despite the pain and tragedy that Yazidis suffered in 2014, when the terrorist organization ISIS invaded their areas in Iraq, killing and abducting thousands of people, as well as destroying their cities and villages.

Nadia Murad published her post with photos on her social network, in which she expresses her feelings of happiness about how the Yazidis have integrated and consider Germany their home. Namely, we are talking about a young Yazidi, a policeman whom Nadia met by chance in Munich during her participation in the Munich Security Conference, where a policeman approached her himself and greeted her. The hotel concierge, also a Yazidi, who approached her and invited her to his home in Munich.

"Yazidis are a resilient people and they will continue to fight for a better life, despite all the suffering they have suffered. I am proud of a society that does not know the meaning of surrender", she said.

Nadia Murad participated in the Munich Security Conference, where she also met with the Yazidi youth of Munich and talked with them about the many problems and the crucial role of young leaders in solving the global problems facing the world today.
