Talented Yazidi women artisans work on custom-made carpets. Every purchase of products at FYF's "Center for Learning and Entrepreneurship" directly benefits Yazidi genocide survivors, as much of the proceeds from sales go directly to the artisans.

"My work as an artisan helps me to relax, it is like a meditation for me, as weaving allows me to forget all my worries and disturbing memories about the Yazidi genocide and the difficult living conditions in the IDP camp. I am grateful that FYF has given us the opportunity to learn the weaving craft that our Yazidi ancestors have practiced for centuries. We hope to revive the weaving craft with ancient Yazidi patterns and ornaments.
