What is the situation of Yazidi communities in Iraq and Syria
Thousands of Yazidis remain in IDP camps and their lives are in real danger. They lack food, drinking water, and medicine. Recently , about 2,400 Yazidi families received humanitarian aid from the Iraqi red Crescent to the Syardasht camp, which is located on a mountain in Shangal. These are almost isolated cases.
There is no objective information about how Yazidis live in other camps in Kurdistan. According to our sources, those representatives of the Yazidi community who live outside the camps have problems with housing and employment. After the war with is, Yazidi villages have no jobs, roads, shops, or infrastructure. Almost all crops were destroyed and livestock was stolen.
