Thousands of Yazidis remain in IDP camps and their lives are in real danger. They lack food, drinking water, and medicine. Recently , about 2,400 Yazidi families received humanitarian aid from the Iraqi red Crescent to the Syardasht camp, which is located on a mountain in Shangal. These are almost isolated cases.

There is no objective information about how Yazidis live in other camps in Kurdistan. According to our sources, those representatives of the Yazidi community who live outside the camps have problems with housing and employment. After the war with is, Yazidi villages have no jobs, roads, shops, or infrastructure. Almost all crops were destroyed and livestock was stolen. The Yazidi community can only rely on international European humanitarian organizations.

All hope is left to NGOs that work for international organizations. Such organizations build schools, restore housing, and bring humanitarian aid. The problems of the Yazidi community are brought to the world community. But despite this help, it is still not enough. As written above, Yazidi communities are not safe. They can't even protect their livestock. And from such problems as a pandemic, the chances are extremely sad. It remains to be hoped that the Yazidi community will be able to protect itself.
