According to the head of the operational headquarters of the interdepartmental Coordination Council, Georgy Gibradze, no additional restrictions will be applied to shopping centers and shops during the weekend, and the ban applies only to public transport and visiting cemeteries.

"During the weekend, and until May 12 inclusive, only two additional restrictions are introduced. First, it is a ban on visiting cemeteries from May 2 to May 4, inclusive, and, secondly, from May 2 to May 12, inclusive, public transport will not function in cities. No other additional restrictions are imposed, and everyone operates with the same regime that they operated with until today, " Georgy Gibradze said.

According to him, any regulation introduced in the country depends on the existing epidemiological situation. Accordingly, any new step taken by the Government will primarily be determined by an analysis of the epidemiological situation.
