Construction materials produced at the Georgian company Formula Construction were exported to Lithuania, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia said in a statement.
Formula Construction company produces various types of dry mixes, glue-cement, gypsum, self-leveling floors, etc.
The company was established in 2018, with the support of the state agency "Produce in Georgia". 5 million lari (1.45 million dollars) were invested in it. The company is equipped with the latest technologies and machines, as well as an ultramodern laboratory.
"In addition to supplies to the Georgian market, today is the first day when products are exported to the EU, to Lithuania. We are very proud that this enterprise works with our help, it employs 30 people, " said Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.
According to Turnava, the company has prospects to expand the market and supply construction materials produced in Georgia to the European Union, which will increase the number of employees.
"Produce in Georgia" is one of the most successful projects of the Georgian government aimed at stimulating local production in the country. The Agency combines all state programs aimed at promoting the business sector and economic development of the country.
