Recently, a group of Yazidi students in Shangal, returning to their areas from the camps, held an online conference on the state of secondary education and the search for ways to develop the education sector and use technology in online education in accordance with the requirements of the current time. The web conference was attended by Yazidi activists and former Executive Director of the international organization "Yazda" Murad Ismail.

M. Ismail posted a statement on his personal Twitter account: "Peoples, especially oppressed peoples, do not rise up against injustice. Thanks to progress in various fields, our youth can receive distance learning, and secondary and higher education are pillars in development. In fact, I admire the abilities of our young boys and girls, their ideas, their desire for the future. It is our duty to provide them with opportunities to succeed and improve themselves.

The covid19 pandemic that swept the world postponed all discussions and seminars on the ground, and many of these conferences, meetings were held electronically and made the distant future a reality of the present, which may affect its impact at a more distant distance."
