A delegation from the Netherlands visited the Yezidi shrine of Lalesh

Chairman of the Supreme Spiritual Council of Yezidis Hazem Tahsin Said received a high-level delegation from the Netherlands.
Welcoming the delegation, the Emir highly appreciated the position of the Netherlands towards the Yezidis and the recognition of the genocide of the Yezidi people by the Netherlands at various levels and on international platforms. Hazem Tahsin raised the issue of the difficult conditions in which the Yezidis are in camps for displaced persons, stressing that the Yezidis in Sinjar face a complex problem that requires international solutions and the intervention of all parties. He explained that the fact that the Yazidis are still displaced is a big problem, and the issues of return are also very complex and difficult. Problems preventing the return of Yezidis from their homes are possible due to the lack of security and stability in Sinjar, the lack of basic services and the failure to implement the Sinjar Agreement signed between the region and the center.
Hazem Tahsin Said called on the Dutch side, together with the United Nations and the international community, to intervene in solving the problems of Sinjar and try to help displaced Yezidis, especially survivors and survivors, to provide them with a decent livelihood, as well as the problem of a serious search for abducted women and the trial of ISIS gang leaders in order to achieve justice and justice for victims.
