The deputy commander of joint operations, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, led the security delegation, according to the statement of the media cell, which included the commander of the ground forces, Lieutenant General Qassem al-Muhammadawi and several officers will visit the Sinjar district in Nineveh province, hold meetings with the local Yezidi population.
According to the statement, the delegation held a meeting with the Governor of Nineveh, representatives of the UN Mission in Iraq, the Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons, as well as several government organizations and relevant bodies.
