Recently, a discussion organized by Arta for Media and Development in cooperation with the FPU organization on media laws and practices in North-Eastern Syria, with the participation of a representative of the Ezdina Foundation, ended.

Whether the issue of covering the problems of Yazidi refugees and displaced persons and the people as a whole was raised is not clear. The Iraqi Syrian and Kurdish media try to avoid the problem of the Yazidi minority who originally live in these territories. Every day we learn less and less news about the Yazidi community.

Representatives of a number of media and civil institutions operating in North-Eastern Syria took part in the dialogue at the headquarters of Radio Arta in the city of Amouda.

Sardar Mulla Darwish, Director of the Aso News Network, told the Ezdina website that the dialogue session discussed a document on the General principles of professional media in the region, which was developed at a meeting of media representatives in Berlin in may 2019.

Mullah Darwish explained that the draft was discussed with the aim of making amendments or additions, in addition to discussing and considering the media bill, which will be approved by the media Council in the Autonomous administration of Northern and Eastern Syria.
