This week on FYF’s “Meet Our Female Leaders” series, we are spotlighting our Bakery Supervisor, Shayma Ali Haji:

“A Yazidi woman, I am always delighted and empowered to see women in leadership positions. I believe women should have equal rights as men to work in different fields. Since joining the Free Yezidi Foundation as a Bakery Supervisor, I feel proud to be a part of supporting and empowering women through my skills and work, so they will be able to develop their own skills and become self-reliant.

I believe FYF has made a significant impact by empowering Yazidi women and the community as a whole. When women are united, they can overcome all obstacles and build a better future.”
