Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili called on the population to get vaccinated.
According to the president, today patriotism is vaccination.
"Today, Georgia is at a crossroads, as it has been many times in history. Today, Georgia is facing acute challenges, today's figures of the spread of the virus are alarming. Opponents of vaccination should understand that their attitude is not a personal choice or an expression of freedom. Their behavior poses a threat to others, their family members, neighbors, acquaintances and the entire population of this small country, their viability and health, their future.
True patriotism is not bragging, not violence and not playing with muscles. Today, patriotism and courage pass through vaccination, public self-awareness and responsibility, " Salome Zurabishvili said.
