Nadias Initiative restores primary school for Yazidi girls in Balstan

During the 2014 war, in the village of Bastan, 50% of Yazidi girls between the ages of 4 and 13 were captured by ISIS. These children went to hell on earth and despite all the torment they endured, the girls survived. Almost 100% of girls in the region do not have access to quality education. A safe learning environment is critical to the healing of these children and adolescents who have experienced moral and psychological trauma. The organization "Nadias Initiative" is restoring and equipping the Balstan primary school for these girls, so that the young, surviving Yazidis, through education, can somehow block all the terrible memories of their experiences in captivity of ISIS, let this be the beginning of a new, "normal" life.
