Yazidi population of Iraq and activists are alarmed by the announcement by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani in an interview with The National newspaper that the International Coalition formed to defeat ISIS terrorists is no longer needed:

"To date, ISIS does not pose a significant threat to the Iraqi state and the whole world, and the international coalition that was formed to defeat ISIS is no longer needed," the statement published by the press service of Sudani said.

Sudani did not even mention that to this day more than 3,000 Yazidi women and girls are being held captive and enslaved by ISIS families. Many Iraqi officials even support terrorists and try to convince the international community that they have mistakenly embarked on the path of terrorism, murder and violence.

At the same time, in interviews, the wives and family members of ISIS tell local media that the war is not over yet, and that, unfortunately, they did not have time to destroy all the "non-believers". They are convinced that the so-called "victory" will be for them, and by creating an "Islamic State" they will conquer the whole world.

In an interview with the Bloomberg news channel in New York, the Iraqi Prime Minister stressed that Iraq's official position is clear: "Iraq does not require any foreign military presence or combat forces inside the country. We have capable security services responsible for maintaining security inside the country."

At the same time, ISIS maintains a dispersed presence in Iraq, its members continue to hide in areas where they are treated loyally. They are especially active in disputed Kurdish territories, and in the vicinity of regions where Yazidi population lives, such as Sinjar, Nineveh Valley.
