In Northern Kurdistan, in the Riha refugee camp, preparations are underway to send refugees to Syria. There are thousands of Kurdish families and a few dozen Yazidi families in this camp, all of them from Afrin.

One of the residents of the camp said that they were arrested at the Greek border and forced to return to Syria.

Rahbad, a Yazidi refugee, said that the camp administration puts a lot of pressure on them, they are in a completely hopeless situation. According to the refugees themselves, they know that Syria is under the control of non-governmental forces and there are illegal gangs of ISIS successors, and taking these people there is a cruel step.

According to human rights organizations, Iraq and Turkey have expanded the process of deporting Syrian migrants and returning them to northern Syria.

The repatriation of refugees to northern Syria is a major concern as the region remains unstable and insecure. Refugees are at risk of violence, discrimination and exploitation. It is important to find a safe and sustainable solution for these refugees and to ensure that their rights are protected.

Deportation of refugees is a violation of international law. The UN Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees states that refugees should not be deported to a country where they face persecution or a threat to their life or safety. Refugees in northern Syria are at risk of violence from armed groups, including ISIS. They are also at risk of discrimination and exploitation.

Deportation of refugees is also a violation of human rights. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone has the right to seek and enjoy asylum in other countries from persecution. Refugees in northern Syria are fleeing persecution in Syria. They should be allowed to seek refuge in other countries.

The international community should work to find a safe and sustainable solution to the refugee problem in northern Syria. They should also work to ensure that the rights of refugees are protected.
