Yazidi representative in Iraqi parliament makes statement about attempts to form anti-Yazidi so-called "Supreme Council"
Naef Khalaf Sido Yazidi representative in Iraq categorically rejects the creation of the "Supreme Yazidi Council" composed of traitors affiliated with Kurdish parties.
"Previously, we have always stressed that the mechanism of the election of Emir Hazem Tahsin-bey is, legally and from the point of view, a violation of all applicable laws and regulations and violates the principles of Yazidi religion. Also, we pointed out that the Kurdish parties are working day and night to undermine Yazidi national identity, the purpose of which is to put an end to the history of Yazidis going back to the time of the Sumerians and Babylonians, that is before 6000 years ago, before the existence of something called Kurds and control over our regions, to use them as a pressure card for the central government, whose goal is not love for Yazidis, but rather racist interests to achieve their goals.
Some of those who falsely or traitorously call themselves "Yazidi Kurds" and their illegitimate emir seek to form a council called the "Supreme Yazidi Council", which is an attempt to legitimize Kurdish interference in Yazidi affairs in various aspects and levels.
These attempts are nothing but a means to satisfy the Kurdish parties by the spiritual council and their supposed emir Hazem Tahsin-bey, who unfortunately belongs to Yazidi religion, but works for the interests of the Kurds and not for the benefit of his Yazidi people.
It has become quite clear who wants to hide our identity and our nationality and present it on a gold platter to the enemies of Yazidis, that the so-called Emir of Yazidis was seduced by greed and money at the expense of Yazidis and the suffering of our refugees.
Those deceived who call themselves a non-existent and unrecognized nation of "Yazidi Kurds" are unfortunately committing a crime against themselves and their children, but history will not forget it.
We must not forget, the sons of our Yazidi people who became victims of ISIS in August 2014, our people are still suffering the consequences of this betrayal.
