Lalish Temple reconstruction project manager Khalid Narmo announced the implementation of a project to build a reservoir for the temple that will serve the temple and its visitors.
The reservoir project aims to collect and store 500,000 liters of water. According to Khalid Narmo, it will be carefully designed and implemented according to engineering plans as part of the temple restoration project.
Located in Yazidi district of Sheikhan, the Lalish Temple has a special significance as the main temple of Yazidi people, which attracts followers of Yazidi religion from all over the world. The temple is surrounded on three sides by high mountains.
