The role of the leaders of the Yezidi community in maintaining stability and social cohesion in Sinjar
An event was organized in Dohuk, where activists and leaders of Yazidi organizations gathered. Discussions were held at the event on the role of the leaders of the Yezidi community in maintaining stability and social cohesion in Sinjar. The meeting was organized with the support of the "Mediation With Yazidi community", with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The meeting discussed the goals and ways to solve the problem and opportunities for stability in the regions where the Yezidi population lives:
1. Discussion of the reality of the Yezidi community - problems and opportunities for stability.
2. Uniting the views and demands of the Yezidi community regarding fair trials after ISIS.
3. Opportunities to support stability and social cohesion in Sinjar.
4. Opportunities for collaboration to communicate with decision-making centers.
The event was moderated by an international speaker, Professor Heather Domli.
