After the dollar rose a few days ago in Iraq, the markets witnessed a noticeable change in prices, and they also rose directly, and this change affected the displaced Yazidis.

Yazidi IDPs living in IDP camps in Dohuk Governorate in northern Iraq suffer from a lack of services and assistance, and the high price of the dollar makes their suffering even more severe than before.

Displaced persons, Firas Mahfouz, told Ezidi24: "The high price of the dollar, rising market prices, the presence of the coronavirus, the lack of jobs and the financial crisis that the country is experiencing are difficult for us to bear. The government should monitor the markets and set prices, even if the dollar is high, because there are people who can't buy anything, how will they live now?"

Salah Khalaf said: "The government must find a way out of this crisis and control prices, because there are those who take advantage of this opportunity and raise prices for everyday needs. We don't know, it is possible that the price of the dollar will rise further, which will aggravate the situation of the scenes"

The Central Bank of Iraq had fixed the exchange rate of the dollar, 1450 dinars per dollar, the purchase price of foreign currency the Ministry of Finance, 1460 dinars per dollar, the sale price of foreign currency to banks, 1470 dinars to the dollar, the price of sale of foreign currency to the population.
