With the support and funding of Malteser International, the Italian organization (Bridge to UPP), as part of its project" Together for Peace", opened the Yazidi Youth Center Tobzava in the Bashik subdistrict.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence in tribute to the victims of the events of 2014, after a speech was made by the Director of the SCP in Iraq, Mr. Raed Hashem , who noted that " the organization ( Bridge to - UPP) supported youth centres through the creation and reconstruction of the stadiums and events in the framework of projects aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence and peace in areas affected by disasters and wars."

then the representative of the international organization Malteser, director, professor Ismail al-Saffar, made a speech at the opening ceremony, in which he said: "this center was created as a joint cooperation between two organizations, Malteser international and the Italian organization (bridge to-upp) in the framework of its project "together for peace", as well as with the help of a grant provided by the federal ministry of German economic cooperation and development bmz. Malteser International is a German non-governmental organization active in Iraq since 2004, providing assistance to people regardless of their religion, origin or political beliefs. our biggest program is in northern Iraq, where we help build a new future for Iraqi communities affected by ISIS. We work in the province of Nineveh, in the areas of the Nineveh plains, such as Hamdaniya, of Bartell, Bashik and Talkif. Our goal is to encourage displaced people from the Nineveh Plain to return to their communities and stay there.»

The opening ceremony included several events, which contributed to the promotion of concepts of peace and diversity in Tobzava.

It is worth noting that the project Together Peace is a project developed by the Italian UPP and funded by Malteser International. This project was launched in early 2019. This project aims to enhance the role of youth and culture and promote social cohesion in Nineveh Governorate.

The project includes two items: construction work and community activities. For the construction component, the UPP has built three youth centers, each with a sports stadium. In addition, the project includes the construction and rehabilitation of six public spaces: the rehabilitation sports club "Charakosh", the creation of the Park in Bartell, the rehabilitation of public libraries and Park in Talkife, the creation of a Playground in Bahzani and rehabilitation of the Park at Nimrud.
