Georgian companies participate at Green Week 2024 in Berlin

Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Tengiz Nasaridze, participated in the opening ceremony of the Green Week 2024 (Gruene Woche 2024), the largest international exhibition of food, agriculture, and horticulture in Berlin.

The event provides a platform for Georgian companies to showcase their products and enhance their visibility in international markets.

Accompanied by the Ambassador of Georgia to Germany, Levan Izoria, and the Director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze, Deputy Minister Nasaridze viewed the products displayed at the Georgian stand.

The exhibition features more than 1,400 companies from various countries, attracting over 400,000 visitors.

“Fifteen Georgian companies, supported by the Ministry, are participating in the exhibition, presenting a diverse range of agricultural products. Participation in international exhibitions like Green Week is considered a strategic move by the state to elevate the profile of Georgian agricultural products and stimulate sales in global markets,” the Deputy Minister stated.

The Berlin International Exhibition has been a recurring event for 98 years, fostering connections between producers, consumers, and industry stakeholders. The exhibition will continue until January 29.
