Yazidi ensemble "Nexşê wetan" was founded in Armenia

On the initiative of the Yazidi Center for human rights (ECHR), the musical ensemble "Nexsê wetan" was founded. The main task of the ensemble "Nexşê wetan" is the creative processing and popularization of folk songs.     The most talented young people were invited to the team. The groups will take young Yazidis from 7 to 18 years.

"Few people sing our folk songs. It's sad, because we have such a rich culture. The creation of the ensemble is an opportunity for us to revive our traditional folk songs, " said PIR Azo, head of the ECHR cultural Department.

It is planned that the new creative team will participate in international competitions and festivals.
