Yazidi principalities (Emirates)
Before the formation of the Principality of sheikhs in the 13th century there were other Yezidi principalities (Emirates), such as, the Principality of North and South Dasani, with its capital in the city of Dohuk. In books on the history of the Middle East tells of the heroic struggle of the Yazidis against the Caliph of the Abbasid dynasty Mutassam Billah in 805 G. p. R. C., under the command of Yezidi Prince of Peace Jafar Dasani of Asinamali (Benmaman rod feasts of the People of the Feast. Could Caferк Dasinо Neem). Further it is told that the Principality of the World of Jafar was to the North of the city of Mosul.
After the formation of the Principality of sheikhs, there were other principalities, for example, the Principality (Emirate) Mahmoudi was Dimili and Bahrani. Historian Enwer Mayi Sebaret in this regard says: "300 years ago in Acute was Yazidi Principality Bahrani". He further writes: "Until 1236, p. R. H. G. Dohuk was the capital, which existed for a long period of time, the Principality." After the collapse of the Principality of South Dasani, formed the Duchy of sheikhs. The capital of the Principality was in Baudre (BA adrк). This Principality played a significant role in the history of the Yazidis. This point of view is shared by the historian Mehfuz Ebasi.
The Principality of the sheikhs, because of its size and strength, gained due respect among the surrounding Islamic principalities and acted as a defender of the Yazidis from attacks. This era is the power of Yazidis were finally completed in 1832, as a result of attacks (1831-1834) from the Prince of the Kurds of the World Muhammad Rawanduzi, also called the World of KOR (Mogk kor).
