Yazidi parties are fighting for influence in Shangal, they are fighting with Kurdish and Arab parties in the region.

All the parties in Shangal were created in order to gain more power in the region, and they all used this power for personal purposes, and slander was committed to the detriment of national identity. It is not reasonable to meet with a Yazidi politician who does not talk about spreading the Yazidi national identity with Iraqi politicians, because this is not in the Iraqi constitution simply because they do not consider the interests of the Yazidi population. It is more important for politicians to control the emotions and demands of the Yazidi community than to call for the restoration of Shangal , a battered city that lacks the most basic services necessary for life. Most of the indigenous people of Shangal, the Yazidis, are now in camps.
The society needs a responsible person who will play a humanitarian role, demanding the restoration of Shangal, and not play the role of a psychotherapist for the people.
