In Syria, a 17-year-old Yazidi woman, Leila Murad Eido, was released from captivity by is terrorists. When she was captured by is fighters, she was only 11 years old. But the terrorists did not see her child, during the captivity she was subjected to violence and abuse.

Leila wants to be reunited with her relatives as soon as possible, but due to the measures taken to combat the COVID-19 coronavirus, she cannot cross the Syrian-Iraqi border.

"I miss my family very much, and I want to return home to my family as soon as possible. I had a lot of Yazidis with me, but I don't know anything about their fate," Leila Eido told NorthPress Agency.

About 7,000 Yazidi women and children were abducted by is terrorists during the 2014 Shangala genocide. Women were used as sex slaves and sexually abused by terrorists, children were used as suicide bombers, and babies were sold to foster homes. According to some estimates, more than 3,000 women and children are still missing.
