There is a small but significant Yazidi population in Armenia. It is important to note that the Yazidi population in Armenia lives in various regions, and in some cases they live in mixed villages with other ethnic groups. The exact number of Yazidis in Armenia is already difficult to determine, as it depends on various factors, including counting methods and determination of ethnicity. However, it is estimated that more than 50,000 thousand Yazidis live in Armenia. The Yazidis in Armenia have their own sacred temples and monuments associated with their religious and cultural traditions.

Yazidis, like other minorities, are known to face various forms of discrimination and rights violations in various countries, including Armenia.

Here is a list of any problems:

· Yezidis, as a minority, still face discrimination in various areas of public life, including access to education, health care, employment and other opportunities.

· Despite the large number of international conventions signed by Armenia, the Yezidis had problems preserving and promoting their culture, traditions and language in the context of assimilation or insufficient support for State institutions. International organizations have noted this repeatedly in their reports.

· The Yezidis profess their unique religion, which faces misunderstanding or even persecution by other religious or social groups.

· Women in the Yezidi community may also be subject to discrimination and violations of their rights as members of an ethnic and religious minority.

· In the context of territorial conflicts or tensions with neighbouring groups, the Yezidis faced violence and persecution, with problems of access to land ownership.

Today, Armenia signed several agreements meant to foster collaboration across a range of areas and declared its intention to further its relationship with the European Union. In general, Armenia aims to strengthen its relationships with the EU and become more integrated into the European Union; however, the country's future trajectory toward EU membership may be influenced by other factors, such as domestic political and economic circumstances and the liberties and rights of national minorities.

Furthermore, as a member of the Council of Europe, Armenia has signed and ratified a number of international instruments aimed at protecting the rights of national minorities. European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages: This Charter aims to protect and promote the development of regional or minority languages in member countries. Armenia signed this Charter in 2001 and ratified it in 2002.

Council of Europe Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities: This convention aims to ensure the protection of the rights of national minorities and the development of their culture in member countries. Armenia signed this convention in 2001 and ratified it in 2002. These regulations oblige Armenia to take measures to protect the rights of national minorities, including measures to protect and develop their cultural and linguistic heritage. However, the degree of their effective implementation depends on the implementation of norms at the regional level, which is still hampered. We can only hope for human rights organizations in Armenia, which regularly raise the issue of the Yazidi community in Armenia and this at least somehow affects the situation with the rights and freedoms of the Yazidis in Armenia.
