A new music video dedicated to the Yazidi culture and faith has been released
The South Kurdistan Committee for Culture and Arts has released a new music video titled "Yar yar" that draws attention to Yazidi culture and faith. It is not only a piece of music, but also a symbol of the struggle of the Yazidi people to preserve their identity.
Despite being genocided dozens of times, the Yazidis survived thanks to their will and did not surrender to their enemies. All the Yazidis wanted was to live in their own land with their own faith and culture.
The music video was directed by artist Peshava Ramazan. The lyrics and composition of the song were written by Fakir Murat, and the song was performed by Hadi Murat.
