Air France has resumed regular passenger flights on the Paris-Tbilisi-Paris route. This was reported in the press service of the operator of the Tbilisi airport TAV Georgia.

On August 8, 178 passengers arrived on an Air France flight to Tbilisi. On August 9, a flight is scheduled from the Georgian capital to the main Paris airport Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.

The airline operates Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft on the following schedule:

Paris-Tbilisi-every Wednesday and Saturday;

Tbilisi-Paris-every Thursday and Sunday.

Since August 2, regular flights on the route Munich-Tbilisi-Munich are operated by Lufthansa. On August 6, the Latvian AirBaltic resumed flights from Riga to Tbilisi.

Recall that in mid-July, the European Union considered Georgia a safe destination in terms of the epidemiological situation. The EU Council included Georgia in the list of countries with which European States are recommended to open external borders.

In turn, Georgia has allowed regular air traffic with five countries: Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Citizens and residents of these countries do not need to be quarantined after arriving in Tbilisi.
