6,904 market traders and 1,727 other types of traders received one-time assistance in the amount of 300 lari.

As for drivers, only 15,904 individuals were registered, among them 10,660 were licensed taxi drivers. Of these, 13,192 people received compensation in the amount of gel 300. 9,632 taxi drivers received compensation in the amount of gel 300.

The list of types of portal activities also includes nannies, Tutors, restaurant and hotel staff, bakers, beauty salon staff, tour operators, guides, workers, and others.

The acceptance and processing of applications from self-employed persons continues. On June 29, the registration process for Georgian citizens employed in seasonal jobs abroad began. Check-in is available on the website compensation.moh.gov.however, They can also receive assistance from the state in the amount of 300 lari. The registration process will end on July 15.

To receive financial assistance for this category of citizens, you do not need to submit any documents other than information about border crossing. Persons who went out for seasonal work during 2019 and spent 30 to 120 days abroad from March to October inclusive can register.

Compensation is due to another category of people, those whose work is associated with regular border crossing. If they crossed the border more than 60 times during 2019, these people can also expect compensation. They do not need to provide any documents other than a copy of the passport page or ID card.
