In 2016 in the category of best Yazidi singer the winner  became Javoyan Temur. In this category also participated other famous Yazidi artists such as; Mais Karoyan, Rustam Mahmoudian, Jangir Broyan and so on.  With the song "Dayika min" (my mother) Temur defeated their competitors in creativity. Let’s tell a little about the biography of the winner.

Javoyan Temur Kachanovich 28.04.1988, was born in Armenia,  Armenian SSR district of Armavir. He was trained for three years in a music school in the Krasnodar territory Krapotkin. Then after arrival in Moscow, he received a lesson of mastership from Anatoly Vasilyevich (Professor of music at the Conservatory) during the year. After that, for 6-7 years in depth gave creative science (music).  Javoyan Temur always emphasizes that Kai Sabri (Turk by origin) helped him in self-realization on vocals.

Temur began to sing from an early age. He fondly remembers the first time he performed in front of an audience when he was 8 years old. Temur always said that the love to music was inspired by his parents, but it was the moment when he first played Merani  (Patriotic music), his audience listened attentively ,though he was 8 years old. This moment played a key role for his singer career.  His first concert he performed with the famous at that time in Armenia singer Romik Avitisyan. With this concert he is proud to this day. Temur has big plans for his first album and video, which he shoots in Turkey (Istanbul). As the winner celebrates and gives advice to aspiring singers, "the path to success is through education" as well Temur always thanked his admirers for their patience, because the songs are not written quickly.
