Yezidis are extremely talented people. In addition, Yezidis who have reached a high position in society tend to take care of the country and the people among whom they live. It is a model of such a patriot of the country in which a person lives, is Tbilisi Yezid Zelimkhan Mutsoev. At the same time it is an example of willpower, strong character and organizational talents.

Zelimkhan Mutsoev was born in 1959 in Tbilisi in a Yezidi family. Father - the employee of criminal investigation Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Georgian SSR, mother an employee of the city library of the city of Tbilisi. His parents died when Zelimkhan was 10 years old. According to Mutsoev, from that time he lived independently with his younger brother Amirkhan and sister. He worked. The elder sister got married when parents were alive and moved with her family to another Republic.

In his youth he was professionally engaged in hammer throwing. After a back injury, decided not to quit the sport. Play rugby. After graduating from school, he worked on a construction site as a truck driver. He served in the army from 1979 to 1981.

Zelimkhan Mutsoev graduated from Volgograd Institute of civil engineering (correspondence Department of the faculty of Economics and construction organization) in 1989. In 1987-1988 he opened a self-supporting sewing company. The first production were down jackets. The enterprise began to grow, there were branches in Ukraine, Moscow, Armenia. He moved to Moscow to head the Association of foreign economic relations of small and medium-sized enterprises of the USSR, created together with partners.

Zelimkhan Mutsoev from 1994 to 1995 was the Director of LLP "foreign Economic firm "Amir". From 1995 to 1998 — General Director of JSC "Amir-Impex".  In 1998 — Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC “Pervouralsky Novotrubny” factory.

Business of Zelimkhan Mutsoev is still successfully developing. He is the co-owner of Corporation "Uralkali", "Silvinit", he owns a network of Mori Cinema. As a result, Zelimkhan Mutsoev is now 66th place in the ranking of the most successful businessmen of Russia.

In politics Zelimkhan Mutsoev went in 1999 when he was already an established businessman. He was elected Deputy of the State Duma on Pervouralsk single-mandate constituency № 166, Sverdlovsk region, on the same district he was elected in 2003. In 2003-2005 — Deputy Chairman of the people's party of the Russian Federation.

In the State Duma of the third convocation was a member of the group "people's Deputy", a member of the Committee on industry, construction and high technologies; in the State Duma of the fourth convocation was a member of the faction "United Russia", Deputy Chairman of the Committee on international Affairs. In 2007 he was elected to the State Duma of the fifth convocation as a member of the Federal list of candidates nominated by the all-Russian political party "United Russia" (the fifth number in the list of regional group 69: Sverdlovsk region), taking the same post of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on international Affairs.

In 2012, Zelimkhan Mutsoev was elected to the State Duma of the sixth convocation on the lists of the United Russia party. Since 2013, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS and compatriots Affairs. In 2016, he was elected to the State Duma of the seventh convocation in the Pervouralsk single-mandate district (Sverdlovsk region). Member of the State Duma Committee on international Affairs.

In 2018, he joined the Commission of the Presidium of the General Council of the United Russia party on international activities.

Like most Yezidis – Zelimkhan Mutsoev is a conservative and moral advocate, a wanderer of educating young people within the framework of traditional morality, strong healthy and sober families. Back in 2002, foreseeing the wave of propaganda of homosexuality that hit the youth, he proposed to return to the criminal code article for sodomy, which operated in the USSR to stop the corruption of young people.  The initiative of the Deputy, unfortunately, was not supported by the state Duma.

But still Zelimkhan Mutsoev does everything to protect the future of Russia from corruption and propaganda of destructive behavior at the legislative level. For example, in 2010, Zelimkhan Mutsoev proposed to protect the health of the population and especially young people to sell tobacco and beer only upon presentation of a document certifying the age of the buyer, because sellers, although it is prohibited, still sell such goods to minors.

Unfortunately, this law was not adopted, although the problem of alcoholism in Russia (especially in the Urals) is very acute, and most of all strikes at young people.

Zelimkhan Mutsoev himself respects the representatives of all peoples and is a polyglot. In addition to his native language and the state language of the Russian Federation, he is fluent in English, Turkish, Farsi, Georgian, Armenian, Azerbaijani.

And in conclusion to the victory Day on May 9 – Zelimkhan Mutsoev recently published congratulation to the voters and citizens of Russia on this great holiday which well characterizes this worthy representative of the Yazidi people.

Every country, every nation has dates that will forever remain in the memory of the people. For us, the people of Russia, it is May 9, 1945 – an infinitely expensive day for our Fatherland. Today, on the eve of the holiday of the great Victory, the state Duma Deputy Zelimkhan Mutsoev talks about what this date is for him personally:

- For me, May 9 is a Holy day. I walk in the column of the Immortal regiment together with my children and feel the most sincere connection with all the people who walk next to me. And this feeling will always be with us, in our hearts, in the hearts of our children. We are United by our memory, our pride for our Country, for our people, for our grandfathers and fathers. It is a great bond of time and generations.

74 years have passed after the victorious spring of the 45th... And wounds do not heal, and memory does not allow to forget about the terrible tragedy that the country experienced. Every city and village, every family has its own military history, its irreparable loss.

I have great respect and understanding for the appeals of residents of small towns, towns and villages with a request to support the reconstruction of monuments to the fallen on the fronts of the great Patriotic war countrymen. They cherish the memory of the dead, but they are not able to restore the monuments on their own.

Together with the staff of my public reception, we try to respond to such requests and have already participated in the reconstruction of the obelisks of Glory in the village of Kedrovoe, Verkhnepyshminsky district, in the village Of Verkhny Potam, Achitskiy district, in the city of Mikhaylovsk, in the village of Emanzelga and in the village of Novoutkinsk. We helped to bring home the remains of the deceased near the town of Yelnya Pervouralsk G. V. Galdina. Now our Ural soldier is buried in his native land with all military honors.

On the eve of the 70th great Victory in many cities and towns updated memory Books – received new information from the search teams, opened archival data. We took part in the reissue of books, in the installation of plaques. I am grateful to be able to support such an important cause. It is my duty as a Deputy and as a citizen of my country.

Today I want to bow low to veterans, home front workers, widows and children of war. You have experienced all the difficulties, sorrows and hardships. At the cost of incredible, superhuman effort you did everything possible to bring Victory. Happy holiday to you, my dear! And may your days be bright and joyful! Good health, prosperity and peaceful sky over the head of all the inhabitants of the Urals!
