The Yazidi center for human rights in Armenia concluded that the Yazidi heritage and culture should be preserved and restored

The Yazidi Center for human rights (Armenia), conducted a survey among the Yazidi population of Armenia and drew its conclusions . according to the Chairman of the Yazidi center for human rights, Sashik Sultanyan, the Yazidi heritage, Yazidi language, culture and traditions of the Yazidi community in Armenia are being lost.

Chairman of the Yazidi center for human rights Sashik Sultanyan plans to hold a meeting with Yazidi youth living in remote villages and districts of Armenia, and intends to discuss with them the current problems related to the teaching and preservation of the Yazidi language, culture and tradition.

On October 19, 2019, a meeting of representatives of the organization and the youth of the Yazidis will take place in the Armavir village of Jrarat. A club ("Mala yezdiya") will be opened, which will consider the ways of development of the Yazidi community, where and how the modern Yazidi youth living in Armenia sees their future. The rights of representatives of national minorities living in Armenia will be considered.
