Ex-President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili will meet with ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili at the Gori Military Hospital today.
According to Giorgi Margvelashvili, the meeting of the former presidents is scheduled for today at 12:00.
It is known that one of the main topics of conversation between Giorgi Margvelashvili and Mikhail Saakashvili will be the process of national accord between the government and the opposition initiated by President Salome Zurabishvili.
On December 20, Giorgi Margvelashvili addressed the Special Penitentiary Service with a corresponding statement in order to meet with the convicted Mikhail Saakashvili. The Special Penitentiary Service granted the petition. According to their explanation, Mikhail Saakashvili's state of health allows for a meeting.
