In Georgia will house the regional center of innovation

Batumi State University named after Shota Rustaveli (Georgia) is part of an international team that is implementing a new EU-funded project aimed at accelerating the introduction of digital innovations in schools.

Ihub4project was launched on January 1 and is designed for 30 months. Its goal is to develop mechanisms for rapid implementation of digital innovations in schools and beyond. The project will create regional innovation centers in five European countries, including Georgia. They will develop a mentoring model that will be tested by 600 teachers in 75 schools.

The participants of the project, funded under the EU Horizon 2020 program, will develop various support mechanisms that will support cooperation between teachers from schools with different levels of digital technology.

The ihub4schools project is coordinated by the University of Tallinn (Estonia) and implemented by a team of participants from Norway, Great Britain, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania and Georgia.
