The international Association of Georgian doctors has been established in Georgia. The organization unites medical professionals working in Georgia and abroad.

The doctors say that the main task at this stage is the fight against the pandemic through joint efforts.

"We, each of us, including our compatriots working in leading clinics abroad and our colleagues on the ground in Georgia, whose contribution to overcoming the pandemic is truly invaluable, decided to join forces. The Association will work on key challenges and current issues related not only to the pandemic, but also to much longer-term plans. If government agencies cooperate with us and our recommendations and practical guidelines are legitimized, the system will become more flexible. Thanks to this unity and cooperation, we will achieve the best results, " said the founder of the organization Sofio Beridze.
