One-time compensation can also be claimed by persons who received a salary from November 28 to December 5, and then remained without income due to the imposed restrictions.

By this time, the revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia has received 83,173 applications for one-time assistance in the amount of 300 lari (approximately $ 92), according to a statement on the Ministry's website.

Applications for assistance began on December 3 and will continue until December 24. Presumably, the payment of compensation will be completed before the new year.

Since November 28, the government of Georgia has imposed restrictions on the work of certain areas and parts of shops and markets in large cities, and also announced compensation for those who were left without a salary for this period.

According to the government's decision, one-time compensation can also be claimed by persons who received a salary from November 28 to December 5, and then remained without income due to the imposed restrictions. Previously, a mandatory condition for obtaining income was the absence of a salary from the date of introduction of restrictions.

Individual entrepreneurs, individuals with the status of a small business, individuals paying a fixed tax, as well as individuals with the status of a micro-business who were forced to stop their activities due to restrictions can benefit from state assistance.

Also, compensation of 300 lari is provided to self-employed persons working at the facility closed due to restrictions and registered as a taxpayer.

The revenue service, after receiving the application, checks its compliance with the conditions for issuing assistance and within three days provides information to the employment promotion Agency, which credits the assistance within three days.

Applications for compensation are submitted either independently or by employers only in electronic form on the website https://eservices.rs.ge/Login.aspx.
