Pashinyan's supporters threaten, harass and try to put pressure on Yazidis who support the opposition

The current Armenian authorities or groups associated with them and supporting them continue to harass various public groups demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. A few days ago, we announced the Sarhldan initiative with a group of Yazidi youth many Yazidis are contacting us, claiming that supporters of the government are trying to put pressure on them. One of the citizens who contacted us claimed that some supporters of the government declared that " Yazidis have no right to demand the resignation of the Armenian government.”
In another case, a graduate of the Police Academy Greta Aleksanyan in the social network Facebook on the registered page "Next to the Yazidis" during a live broadcast, the announcement of Yazidis in support of the opposition, the appearance of the Yazidi flag at the rally qualifies as "the process of splitting Armenia". Moreover, our political announcement of Yazidis is regarded as an attempt to undermine the Armenian-Yazidi friendship. At the same time, it distorts the reality and presents the statement of the Sarhldan initiative as a statement made on behalf of the entire community. The live broadcast of this person, who is affiliated with some government circles, contains dozens of offensive posts addressed to participants of the Sarhldan initiative.
Moreover, Greta Aleksanyan classifies Yazidis who support the opposition as" 5,000 drams", thus persecuting Yazidi citizens who have oppositional views, insulting their dignity. During this period, all Yazidis who have joined the opposition and are demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan are attacked on social networks using fake pages. An attempt is also being made to provoke provocations so that the participants of the initiative take illegal actions.
These days, we also receive information that the authorities are trying to find information containing slander about the participants of the Sarhldan initiative, which, in all likelihood, will be used against them in social networks. Based on this situation, we call on the authorities to refrain from such actions, not to try to suppress a fair complaint from the public, and most importantly, not to sow an enemy atmosphere among various public groups.
