Several people in Batumi protested the long-term state of emergency and restrictions. They gathered at the entrance to Central Park, held a silent rally with the observance of distance and demanded that the state of emergency be lifted.

"We do not accuse the government or the state of spreading the virus. It's just that scared people take advantage of this moment. We have to stay at home, we don't have to worry about families, and we have to wait for the government to provide us with some form of assistance. This should not continue, " said George Putkaradze, a participant in the rally.
