There were clashes between settlers and a group linked to the so-called " Syrian national army " in the village of Fagira / RAS al-Aswad, located in the Gandiris district, southwest of Afrin.

Residents of the city of Afrin, both Kurds and Yazidis, are being harassed by the so-called National army in order to relocate them and settle the families of is fighters in their homes.

A source from the village told the site ezdina.com it is reported that periodic clashes broke out between settlers with members of the Hamza detachment of the second detachment of the "Syrian national army" in the village of Faqira, resulting in injuries between the parties.

The source said that " clashes broke out over members of the al-Hamza unit trying to steal a flock of sheep belonging to settlers on the outskirts of the village in the evening hours." It should be noted that the militants of the group (al-Hamza) asked the settlers to leave the village under the pretext that the area is under their influence, and they are not allowed to stay in the area. They will be forced out if they resist."

The "national army" continues to arrest civilians with fictitious charges.

It is worth noting that the village of Fagira is a Yazidi village, most of its inhabitants were displaced by uncompromising Syrian opposition groups during their control of the region amid restrictions to achieve demographic changes and arabization of the region.
