With the thoughts expressed by the author in the book cannot always agree – Moreover, the author himself admits that he is not a professional historian. But the pain is felt for his people.

Unfortunately, his thoughts are still relevant and therefore (with some cuts and clarifications) we will try to once again convey them to those who care about the fate of the Yazidis. Moreover, the author admits that the purpose of his book is "to make at least a small contribution to the preservation of the identity of my people... to convey to the world community at least a little truth about us - Yazidis...»

Divided forcefully and purposefully, the Yazidis (indigenous people of the middle East) have been left to the mercy of the States that have occupied their lands, deprived them of their basic rights, up to the prohibition of teaching their native language in schools.

A huge number of Yazidis families (which representative I am) were forced to emigrate to Europe, Russia and some other countries of the world from Georgia and Armenia, due to the severe economic crisis of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, after serious changes in the political situation in Eastern Europe and in the world.

It has been more than 20 years since this forced emigration, it is the life of one generation. It is primarily about young people, most of whom do not speak their language and are assimilated at a rapid pace. Because most of the time their parents spend at work and, as usual, it is the hard work of a laborer - the bitter fate of an emigrant. Tired after work, they do not have enough time to raise their children, and children like a sponge absorb the Western way of life, and it is difficult to blame them.

The best situation is observed in the Yazidis who arrived in the Russian village. Praise and gratitude to such families - do not forget their roots, traditions and language. This is mainly a contingent from the villages of present-day Armenia, mainly engaged in cattle breeding, less - vegetable growing.

The presence of large families, strong hereditary roots, love for their people, respect for elders, this fundamental aspect of the "health" of the nation, did their job. For the youth brought up in these conditions, and also deprived of temptations of the large cities, it is possible not to be afraid. Unfortunately, if we summarize the picture, we can’t say this about the emigrants Yazidi from Georgia, about tens of thousands of my relatives.

The picture is depressing. I want this part of the youth, which we lose in moral terms, to know that Yazidis have the oldest calendar in the world and the oldest religion.

The main part of Yazidis (about 2 million) from the Middle East, now leave their native lands under severe pressure from unfriendly neighbors, only for one reason - belonging to another denomination. The silent agreement of the authorities of these regions exacerbates the fate of these poor unprotected people.

The killing of the "infidel" Yezidis is openly or secretly encouraged in these countries forgotten by God. The international legal structures responsible for violations of human rights there (and by the way, getting paid!), in an “incomprehensible” way, ignore the killing of innocent people there. One involuntarily wants to call them: "Lord, be merciful!"
