Nadia Murad Nobel Peace Prize winner and a Goodwill Ambassador for the Dignity of Survivors of Human Trafficking at the UN Office on Drugs and Crime met with Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defence on May 22, 2019 in Brussels.

Both sides discuss fighting impunity, supporting female victims of sexual violence in conflict areas.

They also discussed about the reinforcement of minorities protection and return of minorities to their homes after the elimination of Islamic State, the minister confirmed his support for the efforts of “Nadia Murad” in achieving justice for the Yazidis.
